Closer is an Alternative Rock band formed in 1991 in Athens, Greece. The band consists of Andreas Pappas (lead vocals), Vagelis Pappas, (bass guitar, backing vocals), Nick Zografos (drums), John Ververis (lead guitar) and Vaso Nikolopoulou (Violin).

They have released 3 albums and 3 singles and on 2014 they plan to release their new single.
Thy have performed 3 times at the “Rockwave Festival”, one of the most famous music festivals in Greece. On 16/7/1998 they performed at 'Rockwave Festival' (Pireaus) along with 'Pulp', 'Sonic Youth', 'Τα Ξύλινα Σπαθιά', 'Puressence' & 'Bokomolech'. On 14/7/1999 they performed along with “Garbage”, “Patti Smith”, “Fun Lovin' Criminals”, “Bokomolech” and “Make Believe” and on 12/07/2000, along with “Oasis”, “Moby”, “The Flaming Lips” and “Muse”.
